Post Oscars controversy review Multi camera Unit 35
Tom and I watched the Oscars and decided to take notes on the controversial talking points for our rundown, there was more to discuss controversy wise this time around than the pre Oscars rundown, from Trump, Jussie Smollet, Spike Lee and more. We did our post rundown without a script and completely improvised, I had started to plan a script but I could not finish it on time to film. The quality and professionalism would have been an improvement if a script was used. What we did well was that despite being improvised, we did well in switching topics and staying focused our talking points. Referring back to the lack of a script, we had to film the same subject multiple times as we simply forgot what we were going to say or thought of a better thing to say in general. Multi camera formats and uses Task 1 - Unit 35
Multicam is a technique used in nearly all forms of media including News, TV series and movies. TV Sitcoms such as "Big bang theory" use multi cam in order to capture multiple people at once in one scene to save time and to make sure that reactions to different scenarios are more convincing because everything's happening on screen at the same time. Multicam is also on the cheaper side for editing as all of the footage is kept organised and easy to find. Compared to single cam, it's much more convenient and faster because single cam requires more production time and work overall. In multicam, the 2 outer cameras are most often used for close ups of the active characters on set at the time, however with multiple cameras at different angles, it is hard to have optimal lighting in every shot, however multicam may be hard to operate on a sitcom because since it's filmed in front of a live audience, there's no room for error. ( Interview techniques )
There are different interview techniques that can be used in documentary's, these include the most common "Open and closed" questions. Closed questions are basic Yes and No questions while open questions allow the interviewee to elaborate and give more detail on a specific subject. I used exclusively open questions in my interview because I felt that closed questions couldn't do the interview justice because when it comes to health issues and home schooling, in order for the audience to understand the situation, there needs to be as much detail as possible. Louis Theroux's interviews are mostly Participatory ( The interviewer establishes a connection with the interviewee and actively engages in the situation ) for example, he tries to get to know the personality of his subject in order for them to feel comfortable and open up about more of their personal life and their motives behind their view points, he does not force anything on to the subject however as he i...

Synopsis: 3 teens named Jade, Ricky and Oliver are average teenagers with secrets and a thirst for adventure, however this will come to haunt then forever as they stumble upon bloody rocks in their usual place to hang around, they observe a person dragging what appears to be a body and after the person spots them, they have to fight and navigate their way to safety. My idea: The idea was inspired by 2 completely different sources, the idea for the plot was inspired from the movie "Scream" whereas the inspiration for the maniac came from the popular survival game "dead by daylight" and is based on the killer known as "the legion", the legion is multiple people who take on the role of 1 killer.
