Oscars Planning and roles (Multicam) Unit 35

Image
During the planning stage of the Oscars show, the jobs I did included making shot lists, roll sheets, filming the Good fellas and Clue sections of the Oscars Intro. Everyone's Job was labelled and discussed before production so everyone was on the same page, the below images are just a few examples of the paper work I provided for the subject. During the Oscars shows, I worked on Camera for Anthony's Oscars rundown and I was the sound operator for the majority of the run down shows and edited the Oscars pre Oscars run down for Tom and I. The roles I took up during the filming of the Oscars rundown shows included operating sound for multiple run downs including Tom and Josh's, Olivia and Danniella's and Adam and Bens run down shows. However I also had the role of Camera operator for Anthony's run down. I feel that the pre production paper work I did allowed everyone to be confident in what everything was supposed to look like and who was where at  M e on soun...

Multicam- Post proposal Unit 35

The idea - Tom and I will start the Oscars by talking about spike lee and how he nearly walked out due to green book winning best picture and how disappointed Jordan peele looked during the ceremony. We also intend to go in to detail on Spike lee's tweet to Donald trump and the controversy surrounding it, including the trump jokes included throughout the joke and how they were unnecessary and dumb. We refer back to the lack of a host and how having a host would have positively affected the overall show, Certain winners will be discussed and whether they were in fact controversial as social media entails or if it's all just an over reaction. E quipment needed- -3 Cameras are planned for use, 1 for each of us and then 1 for a wide shot. -A boom pole for better sound quality and less echo - A microphone to capture our audio - 360 camera to capture the set and filming crew The outcome- We hope the Controversy rundowns are entertaining for the viewers as well as informativ...

Interview evaluation ( Interview techniques )

Preparing the Interview consisted of research on both subjects of the interviewees (Home schooling and Autism). I found I reasonable amount of results which give me an idea about how to approach my interview, I had to tell Ceinen what the questions were in advance to the interview in order to give him a chance to write a response because he finds it difficult to respond to these kind of questions. Bev and Bailey however didn't have a clue what I would ask so that I could get as natural of a response as possible. I researched Interview techniques to try and make my interview as believable as possible and to make it come off as a real interview. During the interview process, I had the cameras constantly rolling in order to capture anything, even when I didn't ask a question, the camera's were rolling just in case the Interviewee said or mentioned something relevant or interesting about the subject, the 3 Interviewees were present at all time, if there was somebody in fro...

( Interview techniques ) treatment.

Image
I plan for my Documentary to be in the typical style where the Subject(s) will be seated in their regular environment and interviewed. Equipment   2 cameras will be used for the interviews in order to capture both the interviewer and interviewee during the course of the video with images and videos in post of the subjects. Lighting will be all natural as the room is too small to bring any lighting or additional equipment, so the equipment used will be limited to 2 Camera’s, 2 Tripods and 2 Microphones.   Post   The images in my Documentary are graphic and include post-surgery photographs, although this is needed to express how badly my subject needed treatment. I also hope to add footage from my subjects Make-A-Wish, which he will be going on in the next few weeks. I will not add any music in order for the interviews to be as natural as possible because I feel that Music will ruin the mood of the whole documentary. ...
