Audience classification in advertising include Psychographics which is when peoples habits and personality are monetised so that advertising company's can appeal more to big groups of people which have similar interests. audience classification means to split the target audience it to separate groups including Age, Ethnicity, Social class and gender as this makes advertising to a certain target audience easier, this is this the same with demographics except this involves splitting up the adult audience in to separate categories by income and status which go from unemployed/student up until Doctors or professionals. This is also part of Young and Rubican's 4 C's as each separate group is labelled in society. Unit 6: Media Campaigns- Social Action Diary

We researched multiple topics for anti bullying and I made a PowerPoint with statistics, facts and contact details to fight against bullying. Our original plan was to create a short film for awareness towards bullying however our group came to an agreement that no one would keep interest in a 5-10 minute film so we settled on 3 Short clips for Verbal, Cyber and Physical bullying with me as the co- director, Kain as the main director, Tom as the Cinematographer and sound operator although Alesha was supposed to be the Director but was off due to a University interview.  We had a small accident involving one of the actors hitting their head on the wall but they were fine but one of the clips has bad audio and therefore won't be used. Each clip has it's own message to send and I feel like we did a pretty decent job at expressing that, all that's left is the post production editing and glossing. Unit 6: Media campaign- Social action update

Our original plan will not work out because we cannot acquire any Actors to take part in the short film, therefore we will use our secondary plan which involves changing our script completely in order to meet the deadline. We are changing our long short film to 3 separate short films which cover the different types of bullying. We were going to record scenic shots for the social action however the SD card doesn't work with the camera we attempted to use, we have actors planned for Wednesday morning and we hope things can finally go to plan when we get around to filming, We have Planned to have Tom bring in an SD card so that we are guaranteed to have a working one. I am currently in the process of making 1 out of 3 posters for our campaign, there will be 1 for Cyber, Verbal and Physical bullying.

Christmas advert analysis

The first advert I’m analysing is a short 1 minute Boots advert - ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9cAhAqgLiIA  ) but it begins with Music which is a mix of Christmas music and retro, the retro kicks in once 1 of the woman begin opening a gift, however we don’t get to see what the gift was. The Story is spoken in song as one of the lyrics are “It’s like a story of love “ I believe the advert is showing us the bonding of family as they get older because the advert reveals that the two women are sisters as their parent begin arguing while they were young.     The rest of the advert shows the audience different moments in the sisters lives and gives the impression that they have been there for each other through the good and bad parts all their lives and that they do everything together.     I believe the advert is passing along the message that family are closest people you know and you should always be there for each other and Ch...

We used a small Video camera to record the footage in the advert and all the footage is recorded free hand because we didn't have access to a Tripod at the time.
