Louis Theroux documentary review

The documentary "the most hated family in America" was very interesting watch which follows Louis Theroux as he documents the Westboro Baptist church in Texas, it documents a family who have a burning hatred for Everyone whether they're black, white, Christian, Jewish etc. The documentary shows the lengths that this family will go to in order to spread their message of hatred about other cultures, races and people as a whole. Watching the documentary has given me a new perspective on how others may see the world and it makes me sad that people could genuinely be full of so much hatred for the world, they say that they follow God, however I don't believe that God would smite down every single sentient being.
The documentary was a very entertaining watch from start to finish and I would recommend it to others who want a perspective in to the opinions of others, whether they're insane opinions or not, the way Louis handles the interviews is entertaining in itself as he is really calm and collected around them despite clearly being uncomfortable around them, he is not afraid to argue with them against any points they may have and has a habit of making them look like idiots most of the time which is good for a laugh.
The Camera techniques also add a comedic effect as the camera quickly pans back and forth when Louis argues with another member of the church, the camera work makes documentary more real and lively for the viewers.
The documentary shows what you wouldn't think others would think about the world and makes you re-evaluate what you think. The open questions Louis asks throughout the documentary keep the viewer glued to the screen as you are hungry to know the answer and reasoning behind these peoples views, however the open questions allow Louis to manipulate the members of the church being asked the question as sometimes when they answer, Louis will argue a point back to see what they will retaliate with. Louis represents the average viewer as the viewer will agree that the views of the church members are wrong and Louis will agree with this so he asks the type of questions he knows that people will want to know while being natural with them so they stay in a comfortable mind-set.
