Production Diary

Production Diary: Monday, September 11th- My group and I experimented with different equipment and created a short clip involving Ben Smith and I as actors, We read from a script with about 10-15 lines between us.  I believe it went fine although I messed up one of my lines, I guess that's one mistake I can learn from. We were determined to finish the scene and kept filming causing us to miss lunch but I think it may have been worth it.

Film & TV: About Me

Film & TV: About Me I chose to do TV & Films because I believe it would be life changing to be part of the film industry as it has changed the current developing world and is expanding. Film has become a huge part of everyone's lives therefore I think being a part of that is a dream come true. Everyone who wishes to be involved in the film industry has been inspired one way or another. My inspiration was movies such as Titanic because of the amazing Camera work, visual effects and the amazing soundtrack from James Horner which sets the mood for each scene. Another movie which I believe has inspired me would be pirates of the Caribbean because it shows that even movies that focus on amazing story telling can also be goofy and side splitting. I am mostly looking forward to the brand new experience that comes with this course and learning new ways to improve my current skills. Things that I'm anxious about include mistakes I may make during my time on t...

Film & TV thoughts

Films & TV course thoughts: For the first couple days, it has been a blast! I have learned many things involving everything film from Camera work, Acting, Lighting and teamwork. Everyone seems really in to the whole film industry and I get along with them all. We've even had opportunity's to film a couple pieces of work and I can truly say that it's incredibly fun and even hilarious at times, I've managed to have a shot at the multiple roles given to us however I believe acting is my strong point even if I mess up a few times, then it's just more clips for the blooper reel! Overall I'm having an amazing time and I'm looking forward for what's to come for the rest of my time here.
